Ranken Technical College
In 2008, MAVERICK Technologies and Ranken Technical College developed a Project Support
Center (PSC) recruiting partnership program. Through this program, MAVERICK fills temporary-to-hire positions with qualified Ranken graduates.
Participants sign a six- to 12-month contract to work at MAVERICK's World Headquarters in Columbia, Ill., where they support engineering and design
projects through base-level HMI and PLC programming, graphics generation, and application testing and auditing. At the end of their term, participants
may have the opportunity to become full-time MAVERICK employees or use their real-world work experience to pursue other endeavors. Ranken is located
in St. Louis, less than 15 miles from MAVERICK's World Headquarters.
Southern Illinois University Edwardsville
MAVERICK's founder and CEO, Paul Galeski, is a Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) alumnus and has continued to support the university since graduation. MAVERICK sponsors two engineering scholarships at the university, and in 2008 Galeski was inducted into the inaugural SIUE Alumni Hall of Fame in recognition of his contributions to the field of engineering.
