Don Dickson has profit and loss analysis and review responsibility for several profit centers in MAVERICK’s Automation Solutions group. In this role, Don builds project teams to execute a wide variety of engineering and systems integration projects and ensures that project teams are executing flawlessly. Don's operation team consists of Project Management Professionals (PMPs) and degreed and registered Professional Engineers (P.E.) with the experience required to execute and bring true value to any project.

Don joined MAVERICK in 2005 when the company acquired General Electric Automation Services (GEAS), where he had worked since 1996. He has served as director of quality, services manager and principal engineer. Don holds certifications in Six Sigma and project management and is a registered P.E. Don earned his Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from the University of Texas at Arlington.

“I judge the success of any given project on two fundamental questions: Is the customer happy with the end product, and did we stay within budget?” says Don. “The only sustainable business model requires both of these essential elements.” His favorite project was working on a design-build effort for a large semiconductor manufacturer.

Outside of work, Don enjoys family, traveling and home improvement projects.
