Larry Ray

Larry Ray is the executive sponsor for key clients, focusing on the overall relationship, and is a voice of commitment from MAVERICK on meeting their needs. He also provides strategic direction for managing projects associated with these clients. In addition, Larry manages a geographically and technically diverse team of specialists who deliver proposals and estimates for hundreds of new opportunities each year. As the contracts manager and liaison for the company, he reviews and ratifies large contracts and master service agreements for long-term and strategic clients. Larry also drives the application and continued development of standard estimating and proposal tools for maximum flexibility to afford evaluation of alternatives, staff-level forecasting, cash flow modeling and risks on specific projects. Larry joined MAVERICK in 2005 as a proposal and estimating group manager when the company acquired General Electric Automation Services (GEAS), where he had worked for seven years.
Previously, Larry worked as a project manager at TAVA Technologies and a senior engineer at Instrument Control Services. He earned his Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering (BSEE) at Auburn University. Larry is also a registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) and a Certified Automation Professional® (CAP®). He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the International Society of Automation (ISA).

Larry enjoys spending time with his wife, Kelly, and their two active children. He also plays golf and basketball on a regular basis.
