Vice President, Strategic Accounts
Paul Dunn works with MAVERICK’s partners to develop mutually beneficial business relationships with key customers. He is responsible for the evaluation of partners for overall fit, completion of teaming agreements, creation of partnership goals and propagation of the agreements throughout the MAVERICK enterprise. In addition, Paul manages several of MAVERICK’s largest accounts as an executive sponsor, ensuring consistency in approach with multi-site customers. Paul has been with MAVERICK since 2009, when he joined the company as a business development manager. He served as the vice president of sales from 2011–2016.
Paul was one of the primary creators of the DCSNext® approach to distributed control system migration projects, as well as the SureStart™ commissioning services program. These service offerings are designed using Challenger Sales methodology, teaching our customers what they do not know about these topics, tailoring our message to help them understand hidden costs, and taking control of the conversation about the best way to solve these challenges.
Paul earned his bachelor‘s degree in electrical engineering at the University of Dayton and received his MBA from Cleveland State University. He has more than 25 years of experience in automation engineering and business development. Before MAVERICK, Paul spent five years as a business development manager for Tegron, and five years as an engineering / program manager at NASA’s Glenn Research Center. “At MAVERICK, we enjoy working with customers to show them they have some great options that they may not have previously considered. Our goal is to show them that value is more than an overused word — that there are tangible benefits from working with an independent integrator with the breadth of process knowledge that MAVERICK brings to the table, driving business results as well as project metrics.”
