MAVERICK Technologies Wins Lead Process Control Engineering Contract for Oil and Gas Company
Columbia, Ill., April 3, 2008 — MAVERICK Technologies announced today that it will supply lead process control engineering services for a global leader in the oil and gas industry.
The client is building two new diesel hydrotreaters in Baytown, TX, and Baton Rouge, LA, in order to meet stricter environmental regulations for the sulfur content of diesel fuel. Working at the Baton Rouge project site, MAVERICK will provide distributed control system (DCS) configuration and programming associated with a large set of advanced regulatory controls. MAVERICK will also review the basic DCS configuration supplied by the main engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor. The work is expected to take approximately 18 months.
