MAVERICK Technologies Featured in Yokogawa Article in Control Magazine
Columbia, Ill., April 24, 2008 — MAVERICK Technologies is featured in an article on the 2008 Yokogawa Users Conference and Technology Fair in this month’s issue of Control magazine. The conference, held April 7–10 in Houston, included an end-user welcoming address by Yokogawa Corp. of America President and CEO Dave Johnson in which he acknowledged the Yokogawa MAVERICK Alliance for Chevron (YMAC).
Through the alliance, formed in June 2007, MAVERICK and Yokogawa are serving Chevron as the long-term main automation and control contractor for the company’s global refinery modernization project. YMAC has its own office located in the Houston area, near MAVERICK’s Houston office.
In addition to the work done through YMAC, Yokogawa has also recently acquired Analytical Specialties Inc. in order to enhance its gas analysis capabilities. All the recent growth at Yokogawa will help the company reach its goal to become the global leader in automation by 2010.
