MAVERICK’s Recruiting Partnership with Ranken Featured in Control Engineering
Columbia, Ill., July 3, 2008 — MAVERICK Technologies is featured in a recent Control Engineering magazine article entitled, “System Integrator: Recruiting Partnership Provides Off-Shoring Alternative.”
The article describes MAVERICK’s Project Support Center (PSC) recruiting partnership program with Ranken Technical College. The program launched in January 2008 and is designed to fill temporary-to-hire positions at MAVERICK with qualified graduates of nearby Ranken, rather than sending the work opportunities overseas. Program participants provide base-level programming for one of MAVERICK’s largest clients, but the scope of work may expand as the program grows to include other U.S. colleges and universities.
The article includes an explanation of the program’s development, as well as quotes from MAVERICK’s CEO and founder, Paul J. Galeski, and Ranken’s vice president for education, John Wood. It concludes with a reference to MAVERICK’s new partner office in the Netherlands — another example of MAVERICK’s recent global expansion.
