Hurricane Ike Message From Paul Galeski
Monday, Sept. 15, 2008
Dear Clients and Colleagues:
All of us at MAVERICK extend our sympathy to those affected by Hurricane Ike. The storm hit the Texas coast on Saturday morning, bringing with it 100-mile-per-hour winds and 16 inches of rain. Many of our Gulf Coast clients are still struggling to assess the damage, and our disaster recovery teams are working hard to provide immediate assistance.
If your business has suffered damage, please contact us at the numbers below and we will dispatch technicians as available, once travel to your area is deemed safe. Our trained and experienced personnel can provide complete support through our engineering, programming, IT, technician and construction management services. As needed, over the coming days and weeks, we will provide additional resources from other MAVERICK locations to ensure minimal disruption to your operations and projects.
Thankfully, all of MAVERICK’s employees are safe. Both our Houston office and our Yokogawa alliance office near Sugarland incurred limited damage. We had minimal impact to our hardened IT infrastructure, though we were among the millions who lost power. We are currently working to reestablish operations, and we expect to be fully operational by the end of the week. In the meantime, we have temporarily relocated some resources to our Dallas office.
Thank you for your patience and your support during this period.
