MAVERICK Technologies Adds Arc Flash Prevention Specialist David Paul to Consulting Team
COLUMBIA, Ill., February 4, 2010 — MAVERICK Technologies, a leading global engineering, systems integration and operational consulting firm, announced today that David Paul, P.E., has joined the company as a Senior Consultant, Paul will provide support to all the company’s clients.
In his new role at MAVERICK, Paul will lead the company’s expansion of providing arc flash prevention programs across a wide range of industries. Paul brings to MAVERICK over 24 years of electrical engineering experience in both automated industrial controls and electrical power distribution in industrial facilities. With extensive expertise in the food and beverage, tire and rubber, packaging and discrete manufacturing industries, Paul has a proven track record of applying his broad knowledge to the detail-oriented process of effective arc flash prevention studies and programs necessary at all types of manufacturing plant facilities.
“The consequences of an arc flash incident can be devastating to a manufacturing plant’s equipment, the facility itself and its employees,” said Paul J. Galeski, P.E., CAP, MAVERICK’s CEO and founder. “We are confident that David’s leadership in this critical service offering will be instrumental in helping MAVERICK’s clients assess and mitigate their arc flash hazards with the least amount of impact to ongoing plant operations.”
Paul, who earned his Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from Clemson University, is looking forward to contributing to MAVERICK’s ongoing expansion in arc flash prevention. “As the understanding and incidence of arc flash increases, more manufacturers are becoming acutely aware of how important a hazard assessment is and what a partner like MAVERICK can bring to the table,” said Paul. “By relying on broad-based expertise and experience, arc flash prevention does not have to be viewed as a negative necessity, but rather a valuable investment to protect a manufacturing plant’s future.”
