International Society for Automation invites Christine Knuth to Join the Board
COLUMBIA, Ill., May 19, 2011 — MAVERICK Technologies, a global leader in industrial automation, enterprise integration and sustaining services, announced today that Christine Knuth, MAVERICK business development manager, has joined the board of the Twin Cities Section of the International Society for Automation (ISA) as the incoming secretary.
Ms. Knuth is also secretary of the Midwest chapter of the Association of Iron and Steel Technology, an organization of more than 1,200 local members.
The Association for Iron & Steel Technology (AIST) is a non-profit organization that advances the technical development, production, processing and application of iron and steel. AIST membership comprises more than 13,800 individuals worldwide and includes iron and steel producers, suppliers, academics and students.

Ms. Knuth joined MAVERICK Technologies in 2009. She has extensive experience in applying manufacturing technology solutions for the benefit of world-class clients in the metals, mining and minerals, chemical plant, power generation and food industries. In addition to her work supporting the industry, Christine is also on the board of the Silver Beach Carousel Society and is the author of the children’s book How Noel Saved Christmas.
