Since July 2002, Kenneth Bownes has worked as a maintenance consultant for MAVERICK or its related companies. He assumed the role of Practice Director of Reliability Solutions in early 2005. In this role, Kenneth's responsibilities include business development, management/execution and mentoring for all projects that demand complete asset deployment and optimization.

Kenneth has a Bachelors of Science degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering from Staffordshire University, England, and a Master of Science degree in Industrial Psychology from Imperial College, London.

Kenneth has worked in a wide range of industries and has assumed a number of different roles. Beginning work as a draughtsman's apprentice, he has developed through engineering design, human relations, process control and SCADA system design and deployment. In 1982, he moved from England to Germany to work for Siemens and, in 1994, moved to the USA to work for Siemens in field service management and outsourced maintenance management. During this time, his project won the prestigious North America Maintenance Excellence Award.

In 2005, Kenneth passed the Society of Maintenance and Reliability Professionals examination and is now SMRP certified. He joins an elite class of roughly 1000 professionals worldwide to achieve this distinction. Kenneth believes in quality control in all the work he does or manages, and sees MAVERICK Technologies' 6D process as the key to achieving project execution quality.
