In his current role as a Director of Automation Solutions, Joe is primarily responsible for the Chemical, Oil and Gas vertical market; developing regional sales strategies, market intelligence, marketing collateral and providing sales support for the regions. In addition to these duties, Joe is responsible for several corporate initiatives including the Environmental, Health and Safety Program, the Project Execution/Quality System, and Recruiting/Co-op Programs. He is experienced in the development and implementation of engineering solutions utilizing a myriad of process control platforms, instrumentation devices, data acquisition systems, and mechanical and electrical subsystems. Joe has a multi-disciplined background with over 25 years of engineering and management experience in the chemical manufacturing and engineering services industries.

Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla, and a Master of Science in Engineering Management from the same institution. Prior to joining MAVERICK, he was a Senior Project Manager for PC&E. From 1991 to 1999, He served as Director of Operations and Director of Engineering for GE-Magnum Technologies. He also developed a strong foundation for his engineering background while working for Monsanto from 1981 to 1991. Joe maintains that his overall goal is to be client focused and make the client happy. He believes that the most effective way to achieve this goal is to have concern for the people he manages, and that providing a fun, nurturing, and supportive work environment is the best way to keep people motivated and achieve high employee retention.

Joe's personal interests include spending time with his family and enjoying outdoor activities. He is also a sports enthusiast and plays softball in the summer months. Joe is deeply involved with his Parish Church Athletic Association, where he serves as President, and is involved in managing the school's basketball program and Church Fish Fry.
