Kevin Rhoades is responsible for leadership and strategy regarding key operating processes and technologies that support the delivery of services to MAVERICK’s customers. Particular areas of development include project estimating and proposal development, procurement, project management, quality and information technology. He began working for MAVERICK as an outside consultant in 2002 and joined the team full-time in 2005 as Vice President of Quality.
Kevin previously worked as the vice president and CIO of Teralogix, the founder of Project Performance Solutions and as project manager at several companies: GE, MAGNUM Technologies and ABB. Kevin says MAVERICK’s acquisition of General Electric Automation Services (GEAS) has been his most exciting endeavor at the company so far. He has also enjoyed playing a key role in integrating process and technology within the business, which helped MAVERICK grow and increase its capabilities.
“The best part about working for MAVERICK is its entrepreneurial spirit,” says Kevin. “All employees truly have the opportunity to grow with the company, without having to leap over the bureaucratic obstacles you find at other companies.”
Outside of work, Kevin enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He serves as den leader for his son’s Webelos den and Pack Committee Chair for their award-winning Cub Scout pack. As an Eagle Scout, Kevin finds it gratifying to give back to the Boy Scouts of America by helping the next generation of young men develop character and leadership skills. Kevin also helps coach his son’s baseball team and cheers on his daughter at University of Illinois football games, where she is a student and a member of the Marching Illini.
