- Subcontractor for Systems Integration at Railroad
Working as a subcontractor, MAVERICK Technologies provided the process control system and
systems integration services for a major railroad. As part of this project, MAVERICK provided the programmable
logic controllers (PLC) hardware and software, PLC panels, UPS panels, remote I/O panels, local control panels
and damper control panels. The SCADA system design, configuration, documentation, startup and 30-day testing
support is also provided as part of this scope of work. The control system comprises fully redundant Siemens
S7 PLCs that were designed and configured to meet the specified system requirements. The system comprises redundant
processors, distributed I/O through a Profibus network and serial interfacing to other systems with Modbus protocol.
Graphical displays were developed for systems interfacing.
