Leading The Field

Cliff brings nearly 30 years of experience in the automation and controls industry. Cliff started his career as a Field Engineer for Westinghouse Electric, setting the foundation for his process automation and distributed control system (DCS) experience. Cliff had an opportunity to become part owner of an integration company based on his knowledge of the WDPF system, transitioning to this role where he gained experience on a diverse variety of systems as well as business acumen.

Cliff moved to sunny Pensacola, FL as a Senior Engineer in 1998 where he joined his current team. Cliff has held roles of small project leader, proposal and estimating engineer, project manager, program manager, customer relationship manager and operations manager. A large portion of Cliff’s experience revolves around DCS modernization projects and programs – most notably, a seven-year program migrating an antiquated system and instrumentation to a state-of-the-art DCS and Foundation Fieldbus via a hot cutover, which provided him with a well-rounded perspective of the importance of all aspects of a modernization project.

Cliff holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from University of Nebraska – Lincoln. Go Big Red!
