Internship / Co-op Programs
The MAVERICK Technologies® internship and co-op programs focus on giving students an opportunity to pick up valuable hands-on engineering skills. These programs provide unique opportunities to students and new grads, opening their eyes to a whole new world of automation.
In many cases, these co-ops come back as new engineering graduates to continue their career with us as full-time employees, which is a part of our long-term strategy. Think of this program as an intensive job interview. We are interviewing you, and you are interviewing us to ensure a good long-term fit.
“My co-op with MAVERICK was an invaluable experience that helped open my eyes to many facets of engineering that I was not aware of before. During my time in the co-op program, I had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and was exposed to different process technologies and platforms. These projects helped me gain real-world experience and challenged me to apply my engineering knowledge in ways I had not thought of before. Being a part of the MAVERICK co-op program truly expanded my horizons and helped equip me to be a better engineer.”
– Jackson Lawrence, Engineer II, Pensacola
“Interning at MAVERICK was a great experience for me professionally as well as personally. I gained valuable insight into how to apply the knowledge I learned in the classroom to solve real-world problems. Along with this opportunity, MAVERICK helped me build great relationships with some amazing people and develop the skills I need to be successful as a young engineer.”
– Wriley Herring, Engineer Intern, Houston
“When I graduated college, I wasn’t sure where my engineering degree would take me. I hired on with MAVERICK and quickly fell in love with the culture and the field of automation and controls. I started out as an intern and worked my way up to leading large projects, and now managing them. Working within multiple industries and advancing manufacturing processes to be safer, more efficient, and up-to-date is more fulfilling than I could have imagined. After being in an engineering role for some time, I wanted to see what a project management role had to offer. MAVERICK was very accommodating and offered me an opportunity to interview for an associate project manager program. Once accepted, I was able to shadow a senior project manager within the company and realized this is the path I wanted to take. MAVERICK has been supportive of my career path. They reward those who work hard and care about their work and their team.”
– Jonathan Clark, Operations Manager
