Leading Operational Consulting and Solutions Strategy
Brian works out of MAVERICK’s Charlotte, North Carolina office and leads MAVERICK’s Proposal & Estimating Group (PEG), Operational Consulting (OpCon) practice, Technology Leadership team, and Procurement organization. He is responsible for strategic vision for all four teams, as well as sales and execution management for OpCon.
Brian joined MAVERICK in 2005, as part of MAVERICK’s acquisition of GE Automation Services where he had worked in engineering and proposals since 1999. Before working for GE, Brian began his career with ABB as a distributed control system (DCS) resident engineer. He brings his diverse automation consulting experience in systems engineering, proposal and estimate engineering, business development, project management, and commercial development to his current role as director of consulting and solutions.
Brian holds an M.E. in chemical engineering from the University of South Carolina, as well as a B.S. in chemical engineering from North Carolina State University.
He’s an expert in DCS migration processes and has authored several articles and white papers on the topic and frequently speaks at industry events. He understands project management, proposal and estimating, and has a talent for organization and working with teams.
