MAVERICK CEO Paul Galeski to Receive Two Awards from ISA

Speaking at the recent grand opening of PlantFloor24, Paul Galeski said, ???Here at MAVERICK, we???re about making U.S. manufacturing better and more competitive. But people prefer to do business with people, and we have a lot of good people here.???

Paul was absolutely right ??? MAVERICK???s strength is its people. The experience and knowledge our automation experts bring to the table are what drive our success and the success of our customers. But we wouldn???t be able to assemble such an inspired team if it weren???t for our visionary CEO ??? someone who???s passionate about ideas, about solutions and about helping our customers grow their businesses and stay ahead of changing technology trends.

That???s why it???s no surprise to us that Paul will be honored with two awards from the ISA this September.

The International Society of Automation (ISA) will present Paul with the Excellence in Leadership Award and will designate him as an Honorary Member at the 50th Annual ISA Honors and Awards Gala, on September 24.

The Excellence in Leadership Award honors an individual who has made significant contributions to advance industry and the automation profession. Paul, a licensed professional engineer and a Certified Automation Professional?? (CAP??), has created a paradigm shift in systems integration by establishing and leading two cutting-edge firms to global prominence in less than 10 years.

Paul???s Honorary Member designation was decided by the ISA Executive Board based on a recommendation by the Honors and Awards Committee. It will be conveyed in conjunction with the Excellence in Leadership award, but it is an addition to that award. ISA has the ability to bestow Honorary Membership upon Excellence in Leadership award recipients, but it has to be vetted separately. This is another significant recognition of our CEO???s achievements and his impact on the industries we serve.

???Paul is an industrial automation visionary. He combines technical acumen with strategic focus and business intelligence, leading not one but two successful automation companies in less than a decade,??? said 2012 ISA President Robert E. Lindeman, CAP, PMP. ???Paul is innovative, driven and passionate about the solutions MAVERICK offers, but he???s also dedicated to the development of MAVERICK???s employees. He has been a contributor to several important initiatives to advance the profession of automation, including the Automation Federation???s work on the Automation Competency Model and ISA???s Certified Automation Professional certification program. I had the opportunity to teach a CAP preparation course at MAVERICK, and was impressed by the professionalism and enthusiasm of his employees. Paul has every characteristic we look for in a leader, and we???re proud to honor him with this award.???

So please, help us congratulate Paul! It is quite an honor, as ISA generally only bestows Honorary Member status to one person per year.
